The CRIPPLED BILLY biography
CRIPPLED BILLY was formed in 2002, after many line-up changes and even more band name changes. Originally the band was formed as a wedding band in the 90s, playing cover songs at weddings. Fortunately, after the lead singer himself got divorced, they stopped doing weddings.
We are talking about 3 friends, 3 rock fans, 3 freaks.
CRIPPLED BILLY is based in Ghent, Belgium. They have been rehearsing @ The Music Alley since the beginning of 2002.
CRIPPLED BILLY is a mix of musical influences, varying from Hard Rock, Rock and Pop Music to Heavy Metal, Speed Metal and a bit of Death Metal. Al this reflects in their song writing, lyrics and attitude on stage.
CRIPPLED BILLY just released their first single “Homeland” of their 3rd demo “Music Alley Metal Sessions”. This new demo contains 3 new songs and 1 cover song
In 2003, CRIPPLED BILLY recorded their first full demo CD “Body Noises” @ their rehearsal room. In 2006, a second full demo CD “The Joker” was recorded @ Second Test Recording.
